Wrecks in the vicinity

We offer wreck dives at three different wrecks.

• Salem Express
  Salem Express was an egyptian ferry which was built 1966 and has sunk on 16 December 1991 after colliding with a reef. The wreck can be found south of Hyndman Reef and is off Safaga's coast. Minimum depth is 10 m while the maximum depth is 30 m.
• El Tur
  El Tur also was a ferry boat which has been sunk in the vicinty of Safaga's dry docks. It lies at a depth of 15 to 35 m.
• El Kafeen
  El Kafeen was a cargo ship that burned out and sank east of Shaab Sheer. It lies at a depth of 12 to 30 m.
